He has experience in all phases of healthcare compliance and helps clients limit their liability through carefully drafted contracts, robust corporate compliance programs, and internal investigations.
During his career, Daniel received valuable training from former Assistant U.S. Attorneys and IRS special agents on analyzing, investigating, proving a case, and creating effective compliance. He values clear communication with clients and has conducted hundreds of training sessions for healthcare providers on various topics. He has also prepared helpful training guidance documents covering a wide range of subjects. Additionally, Daniel excels at evaluating existing compliance programs to meet the standards set by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Daniel grew up in Northbrook, Illinois, attended Loyola Academy for high school, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of DePaul College of Law.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys camping and hiking with his wife, Mary. They have a goal of visiting all 63 National Parks in the U.S. Daniel also has spoken at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine about his experiences with a lifelong food allergy. He volunteers at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, engaging in bingo with the veterans, and collects Christmas gifts for women and their children at the Women’s Domestic Violence Shelter in Chicago.
